DIPLOMA IN LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION

Human Resources and Skill Development Foundation, in association with State Resource Center, Kerala is organizing one year diploma course in Life Skills Education. State Resource Center is an autonomous body under the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala. The programme starts during January/February every year. Duration of the course is one year. Graduates in any discipline, residing in the state of Kerala are eligible for the programme. Medium of instruction is bilingual and examinations are conducted in English. Course is being organized in on-line mode to suit the convenience of out station candidates. Classes are normally scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays after 7 pm considering the convenience of candidates who are engaged during day time and also on other working days.  The course contains seven modules comprising six theory papers and one practical work. As part of continuous evaluation, activities and assignments are there in each theory part.  Practical part consists of self arranged teaching practice and institutional visit at the end of the course under the supervision and guidance of a Teacher in Charge to practice the applicability of Life Skills. Final evaluation of practical part   consists of presentation of Life Skills and an extempore class. CERTIFICATE IN LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION

State Resource Center is an autonomous body under the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala. The programme starts during January/February or June/July every year. Duration of the course is 6 months. A pass in Plus Two examination is the minimum educational qualification required for the programme. Only the candidates who are residing in the state of Kerala are eligible for admission. Medium of instruction is Malayalam and the examinations are also conducted in Malayalam. Course is being organized in on-line mode to suit the convenience of out station candidates. Classes are normally scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays after 7 pm considering the convenience of candidates who are engaged during day time and also on other working days.  The course contains four modules comprising three theory papers and one practical work.
